Volunteer at Gateway Club

Gateway Club could not exist without our volunteers. We meet at Linden Hall, Hampton, every Tuesday evening 1900 – 2030 (temporarily) and split our time between the quiet room, a space for members to take part in quieter activities such as puzzles, arts and crafts, and the main hall – where an organised activity is held each week including discos, group activities and shows.

If you can spare some (or all!) of your Tuesday evenings, we would love to introduce you to our team. No prior experience is required, just a friendly and positive attitude. We will provide guidance and help you with your DBS clearance.

If this sounds like something you would like to do, contact us or drop in one Tuesday evening for an informal chat.

Donate to our Charity

Richmond Upon Thames Gateway Club is Registered Charity No 1097711 – the money we need to operate comes from the small members’ subscriptions and grants, mainly from local sources notably Richmond Council, Hampton Fuel Allotment, Richmond Parish Lands, and the Normansfield and Richmond Foundation charitable trusts.

Any donation you can make to help us maintain our service, or possibly expand it to meet unmet needs (we do have a small waiting list!) will be gratefully received.

If you would like to make a donation, please contact us.
