Welcome to Gateway

Dear Gateway Member,

We are very sorry to tell you that our chairman Richard Jeffries died on the second of May.  He will be very sadly missed by members, volunteers and our committee.

Richard was always there at Gateway Club, the run and the sponsored walk and so supportive, interested and caring of us all. He did so much for Gateway Club for many years and no one knew how much he contributed.

We have had a meeting and hope to start club again in September.  We have all missed each other and it will be lovely to start again. It is such a long time since we were last together and we will be pleased to meet up again.

Best wishes and stay safe

Gateway Club Committee

We provide a weekly leisure and social club for adults with learning disabilities, who reside within the London Borough of Richmond-Upon-Thames.

Each week sees an activity take place in the main hall, with a separate quiet room for crafts and puzzles. The evening ends with light refreshments.

Our members help to shape the activity programme alongside the Joint Club Leaders and small band of DBS checked volunteers, as part of our Members’ Committee.

In addition to Tuesday club nights, there are outings and events during the year which always prove popular.

Gateway Club is a registered Charity, affiliated to the Royal MENCAP society. Charity number 1097711.
